The story begins all the way back in the 1960’s. Ron Metcalf, a father of four, procures his California State Contractor’s License. Focused specifically on the then rapidly evolving trade of lath and plaster, he quickly made a name for himself in the industry across the state of California. Though he was known for high quality workmanship, Ron also had a knack for building lasting relationships with those whom he did business.

By 1991 Ron’s youngest son, Todd, began contracting on his own. Using the trade skills that his father taught him, Todd was able to navigate the ever changing tide that is the construction business. Todd has since developed his company, Metcalf, Inc. into the premier Southern California outfit for exterior lath and plaster systems. Between Todd and the rest of the team, we have decades of experience in the trades. Additionally, many of the business relationships that Ron cultivated years in the past still live on at Metcalf, Inc. today.
